An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally-authorized tax professional granted authority by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in all 50 states. Holding the same unlimited practice rights as attorneys and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), EAs can represent clients in any tax matter before the IRS, including audits, collections, and appeals. Recognized as the most prestigious credential bestowed by the IRS, EAs are required to follow strict ethical guidelines and pursue at least 72 hours of continuing education every three years to maintain their qualification. As an Enrolled Agent, I am therefore uniquely positioned to ensure that your financial records are meticulously maintained in a manner that optimizes tax efficiency and compliance, offering a seamless integration between your bookkeeping and tax needs.
